Developer log 3: Start of production


This week we began Production and started from a clean slate,

Assets we added :

  • Character: We made our player model and enemy models and traps .

  • Shaders: We made some cool shaders and assets for our enviorment and player.
  • LootCrates: We made our models and began with a simple animation and rig for our loot crates .



  • Character: We made our simple movement: horizontal movement, jump, dash, stomp. When the player dashes he  travels really fast in the direction he is facing. If the player is high enough he can perform a stomp attack.
  • Enemy: Enemies patrol left and right until the player is close enough and then will start chasing the player.
  • Camera: By using cinemachine we can easily create a good camera which follows the player and tilts when the player travels vertically.

  • Controls: We also added controls on the controller.
